Funding for the University of Waikato Scholarships
The University of Waikato will offer scholarships in the following areas:
- There will be a range of grants ranging from $2,500 to $15,000 for undergraduate students, as follows:
- There is a tuition fee range of $2,500 to $8,000 for the first year of the program.
- A two-year tenure is valued at $2,500–$12,000 per year, with the first year no more than $8,000 and the second year no more than $4,000 each.
- Tenure of three years: $2,500 to $15,000, with no more than $8,000 in their first year of study, $4,000 in their second year, and $3,000 in their third year.
- An individual who is working toward a postgraduate degree will earn between $2,500 and $15,000 for each year they study.

A candidate must meet all the following conditions to be eligible for a University of Waikato scholarship:

- New overseas students at the University of Waikato must apply for registration in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program.

- the Certificate of Attainment in English Language
- Foundation Studies
- University Preparation
- Diploma in Business
- Diploma in Computer Science, or
- Diploma for Pre-Master Preparation
- To get into the University of Waikato, you need at least a B+ GPA in your qualification. Applicants who have not already been enrolled in Waikato’s undergraduate or postgraduate programs and who have not paid fees.
- The University of Waikato does not offer sponsoring organizations, guaranteed credit arrangements, study abroad programs, or student exchange programs.
