Undergraduate Awards for Continuing Students
The University of Calgary awards a variety of scholarships and bursaries to students. One of the offers is undergraduate awards for continuing students to further their education in an undergraduate degree program at the university.
The scholarship is offered to students continuing in their bachelor’s degree follow their success in completing their previous Fall and Winter Semesters as full-time students at the University of Calgary. The least required GPA for this award is 3.20 as well as 2.60 for bursaries. Most of these grants require students to the completion of a minimum academic course of 24 units. In addition, any applicants to the scholarship but with a verifiable permanent disability are also considered to be part of the awards upon completion of their previous program with a minimum of 18 units of an academic course.
Both Spring and summer academic courses are useless in terms of the calculation of a scholarship average for scholarships purposes. It also cannot be useful in reducing academic course load requirements.
Co-op Programs: Those candidates in co-op programs are also eligible to apply for these scholarships opportunity upon the success of completing study terms in the last Fall and Winter Semesters as full-time students at the University of Calgary, Canada. Co-op applicants who previously participated in either the Fall or Winter semesters in a work term that the University of Calgary offered may also be eligible to apply for the scholarships.
Internship Programs: the applicants in the internship programs of the university are eligible to apply for the University of Calgary awards upon successfully completed their study terms in the previous Fall and Winter as full-time students at the university. Internship students who previously participated in either the Fall or Winter semesters in a work term that the University of Calgary offered may also be eligible to apply for the scholarships.
